Stop at: Surf Canaries
Details: We usually meet at the surf school around 9:30 in the morning (exact timing depends on the daily surf conditions). The day starts with a relaxed but focused morning briefing, followed by short, practical theory sessions in our classroom. Our video theory class is not generic — it's the result of over 10 years of hands-on teaching experience. It works equally well for first-time surfers and those who have surfed before, covering the fundamentals that actually help you get up on the board. Once you know the golden rules of surfing, we move to a short beach simulation, so nothing feels rushed once you're in the water. Then it's time for the first practical surf session with your instructor. After around 50 minutes in the water, we take a 20-minute break to rest and recharge before heading back out for the second surf session. We finish the day back at the surf school with a relaxed photo viewing, where everyone gets to see themselves in action. All photos are included and free to download — no upselling, no surprises. Small groups, experienced instructors, and a structured day that helps you progress. That's how we've done it since 2007.
