I can highly recommend the longer dhow cruise. At the beginning of the tour, my wife thought six hours would be far too long. However, she enjoyed it so much afterward that the longer tour was definitely the better choice. There were about 20 tourists on board. The operator was very attentive, constantly providing us with fruit, mineral water, 7Up, cola, coffee, tea, and more. Lunch was typical local fare and tasted delicious. We made two swimming stops with clear water and lots of colorful fish. If you wanted, you could climb 450 meters up a roughly 200-meter-high cliff that separates the Arabian Sea from the Omani Sea. Other boats anchored alongside us were packed with people. We highly recommend this excursion from Khasab. Pickup at the boat and transfer to the port went perfectly. You can't go wrong with this affordable booking. Our verdict: EXCELLENT

We were on a large boat with only 9 other people – perfect, not as crowded as the cruise excursion boats with 50 to 60 or more people.

Very well organized from start to finish. Excellent food and extremely friendly, helpful tour guides. The guide told us a lot about Khasab. It was a fantastic day. Highly recommended.
