There's way too much to see! You could probably spend a whole day in there and be just halfway done with the exhibits. It was rather crowded with a lot of children running around but the overall crowd control was pretty decent. It's not too expensive but if you really want to avoid the ticket fees, go in 30 min before closing. It's free but I'm not sure how much of it can you enjoy.

American Museum of Natural History is awesomeAmerican Museum of Natural History is an awesome place to visit. You can spend the whole day here as the place is huge. Do some initial game plan first if your time is limited. Tip-buy ticket in advance and you can breeze through the entrance. Don’t bring big bag as they do not have lockers. The place has 4 levels with different themes. Do visit the Blue Whale (under Ocean Life in Level 1) and the North American section. #shopandtripwinter16725

I truly enjoyed my solo trip at the American Museum of Natural History, New York. There were various displays of historical artifacts, arranged chronologically. The displays ranged from dinosaurs skeleton, mammoth, extinct animals, and artifacts from human civilization. I learned a lot about different cultures. The museum is gigantic and it took me one whole day to complete the tour. I finished the tour by having dinner at the Shake Shack near the museum.
