Our snowy trip to the Mutianyu Great Wall was absolutely magical. Seeing the Great Wall blanketed in white snow was a breathtaking wow moment—I completely fell in love.
The bus arrived on time, and our tour guide Amelia explained everything clearly on the way, which made us feel prepared and at ease. She also explained the different routes on the wall and gave us the option to choose, which we really appreciated.
The countryside buffet included with our ticket was delicious and comforting—something I would happily choose over Burger King or Subway. We also loved the optional Great Wall certificate as a meaningful keepsake. The cable car ride going up was a bit scary, but the ride down was smooth and enjoyable.
We’re very glad we chose Mutianyu over Badaling. There was a small misunderstanding about an earlier bus departure, but the lady organizer handled it kindly and professionally, personally apologizing and making sure everything went smoothly. The experience was surreal!★

It was an amazing experience, so organized and we left on time. Divina was the best, she contacted me the day before the trip, she always responded to my messages promptly. I was traveling solo so she recommended the perfect route for me, she even helped me when I was lost up there. Will definitely book again with you in October if I visit again as she recommended the view will be amazing! Even after we returned, she helped me find the metro station and helped me get the ticket. Susan is a fantastic guide and we had a brilliant day to remember with her. The Sacred Road was awesome, and there was hardly anyone else there which made it very special. Ming Tombs were interesting, and Susan‘s descriptions were very informative. And ultimately the Great Wall was… well… Great! We booked this trip only expecting a driver to take us to a portion of the Great Wall, and we were superbly blown away at the lengths our companion was willing to go. We got to chose which and how many sections of the Great Wall we wanted to visit and he gave recommendations for and agains our options. During our drive to the wall he was very talkative even tho there was a small language barrier. There was water and snacks in the car, which we did not ask for, but was greatly appreciated.
