Fantastic! The galleries themselves harboured amazing masterpieces that you must see with your own eyes. The audioguides really helped to contextualise some of the significant works and so you are able to have a greater appreciation. The applications for the audioguides though were kind of clunky and finicky to install but we got there in the end with multiple refreshes, clearing of caches and phone restarts.

This was a 2 part tour. The Academia tour was lead by a lovely Danish woman. Tour was very informative and was just detailed enough. Uffizi tour was led by Claudia. This museum is SO large and it was great to visit to the masterpieces chosen by her. Because we visited in the off season, there were no crowds and we had plenty of time to enjoy each room. Claudia recommended 2 fantastic gelato spots and we loved them! Highly recommend this tour

Let's start by saying that our guide, Ilaria, was superb, highly professional, and at the same time, helped us understand the multitude of aspects related to the various works we saw! She gave us some great insights; it was a fascinating experience! I honestly didn't expect to have a guide all to ourselves.
