It was located in Gansu Province Guazhou County (former Anxi County) 70 kilometers south of the city, under the jurisdiction of Dunhuang Academy. The caves are carved on the east and west cliffs on both sides of the Yulin River gorge and are named after the elm trees on the river bank. Yulin Grottoes was founded in the Northern Wei Dynasty before The Sui and Tang Dynasties. From the mural style and visitors inscriptions knot title, Tang, Five dynasties, Song, Xixia, Yuan, Qing all have carved and painted plastic, large-scale construction. Yulin Grottoes has 43 grottoes, with a total area of 112,850 square meters and murals of 4,200 square meters. Painted Buddha, Road map 10856 shop, color plastic Buddha, road statues 244 bodies. Among the caves, there are 3 in the Tang Dynasty, 8 in the Five Dynasties, 13 in the Song Dynasty, 4 in the Western Xia Dynasty, 4 in the Yuan Dynasty and 9 in the Qing Dynasty. It is similar to Mogao Grottoes in form, content and art style, and is a branch of Mogao Grottoes art system.<img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/0101g120008abb44k76C2_Z_1000_0.jpg" imageid="506304298" sourcewidth="2500" sourcehight="1667">Suoyangcheng Relic Sites:Formerly known as Kuyu City. Suoyang City is one of the key cultural relics protected by The State Council and listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in June 2014. The land is located in the Gobi Desert, about 70 kilometers southeast of Guazhou County, Gansu Province. It was first built in the Jin [1] and developed in the Tang Dynasty, and has been rebuilt and utilized to varying degrees in other generations. Its shape preserves the typical style of the ancient city of Tang Dynasty. At the northeast of the city, there is a large temple department Yuan Dynasty building, 14.5 meters high tower, thousands of small towers neatly arranged in a line.<img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/0353m120008zfporcDC02_Z_1000_0.jpg" imageid="5734388" sourcewidth="1280" sourcehight="719">Son of Earth Statue:Son of Earth Statue located deep in the desert in Guazhou county, Gansu Province. The Son of Earth Statue sculpture takes the shape of a sleeping baby in the earth, hence its name. This sculpture implies that human beings and sculptures are the children of the earth mother, which gave birth to us, and human beings also grow in the embrace of the earth. The giant sculpture, about 4.3 meters in height, 15 meters long and 10 meters wide, has become a landmark sculpture in Guazhou, attracting many tourists, which not only promotes the local tourism industry but also causes more and more people to reflect on environmental protection in the desert.
