Day trip from Nairobi with a morning safari in Lake Nakuru National Park and an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha in the afternoon. See flocks of pink flamingos, rhinos, lions, giraffes, buffalo, leopards, and hippos. Your tour begins at 6:00 AM with a pick-up at a designated location in Nairobi, from where you will head directly to Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake is famous for being a bird sanctuary, with over 400 bird species at times. Lake Nakuru may have as many as 2 million greater and lesser flamingos and tens of thousands of Other birds. For this reason, the park is known as a "bird paradise." The national park is also a rhino sanctuary and offers wildlife viewing. As soon as you enter the park gates, you will enjoy wildlife viewing, and by Lunch time, you will stop at a lodge where you can purchase a meal at a local restaurant. After Lunch, drive out of the park to continue your wildlife viewing. You will leave the park around 3:00 PM for an optional 1-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha.
