Attraction Introduction
The Jianmen Shu Road Jianmen Pass Tourist Area in Guangyuan consists of two adjacent attractions: Jianmen Pass and Cuiyun Corridor. It serves as a key node on Sichuan's Great Jiuzhai Loop and a central hub for the premium Shu Road Three Kingdoms cultural itinerary.
The main attractions of Jianmen Pass Scenic Area include: Jianmen Pass, Jiange Road, Jianmen Pass Tower, Jiange Post Road, Seventy-Two Peaks, Xiaojian Mountain, Jiang Gong Temple, Jiang Wei's Tomb, Deng Ai's Tomb, Zhong Hui's Fortifications, Jinniu Road, Rear Pass Gate, Shisun Peak, Liangshan Temple, Thunder Gorge, Cuiping Peak, Xianfeng Temple, Ancient Jianxi Bridge, and Zhigong Temple.
The Green Cloud Corridor Scenic Area is a green corridor composed of nearly ten thousand ancient cypress trees lining the paths. Its main attractions include the King of Ancient Cypresses, the Mandarin Duck Cypress, the Sky Bridge Cypress, the Evergreen Pine and Cypress Tree, the A'Dou Cypress, the Couple Cypress, the Shuai Da Cypress, Zhang Fei's Well, the Green Cloud Corridor Stone Tablet, Zhang Fei's Stone Statue, the Li Bi Memorial Temple, and the Green Cloud Tower.
The Jianmen Pass Ancient Shu Road Tourist Area in Guangyuan is a national AAAAA tourist attraction, one of the first National Scenic Spots, a Sixth Batch National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, a National Forest Park, a dual National Natural and Cultural Heritage site, a National Red Classic Tourist Attraction, a Sichuan Provincial Nature Reserve, a Sichuan Provincial Geopark, and is included in the "China World Cultural Heritage Tentative List" and the "12th Five-Year Plan for National Major Site Protection." Recognized by "China National Geography" as one of Sichuan's top 100 photography spots, it is hailed as a "living fossil in the history of world land transportation" and praised by Mr. Mao Yisheng as a "famous ancient civil engineering marvel."
