▲ The Three Natural Bridges Scenic Area is renowned for its three natural stone arch bridges: Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Black Dragon Bridge. This cluster of natural bridges boasts majestic, spectacular, perilous, elegant, secluded, and extraordinary features, having endured millions of years of weathering. At the bottom of the Tianlong Bridge pit lies the ancient Tianfu Posthouse, with its gray-tiled roofs and walls, originally built in 619 AD during the Tang Dynasty. Strategically located between "Zuantian Post" and "Baiguo Post," it served as a crucial courier station for official communications between ancient Fuzhou and Qianzhou before being destroyed in war. The posthouse is situated in the Wulong Tiankeng (Heavenly Pit), beneath the Qinglong Bridge of the Three Natural Bridges. A wide valley-bottom road, about 5 meters across, runs through the pit, resembling an ancient courier route suitable for wooden carts and horseback travel. The building stands beside this road, its roof overshadowed by the Tianlong Bridge above.

▲ Tianfu Posthouse is an ancient post station site located at the bottom of Tianlong Bridge in the Three Natural Bridges of Wulong, Chongqing. Originally built in the second year of the Wude era of the Tang Dynasty (619 AD), it served as an official courier station for document delivery and official receptions between Fuzhou and Qianzhou during the Tang Dynasty, later destroyed in warfare. The current structures were reconstructed in 2005 based on historical records for the filming of "Curse of the Golden Flower," featuring a Han-Tang style courtyard complex with over 20 gray-tiled houses, stables, and post roads. The roofs are sheltered by the cliff walls of Tianlong Bridge, surrounded by karst landscapes.
