Large group itinerary:
1-day tour from Edinburgh to Loch Ness, exploring the magnificent scenery of Scotland. Visit the mysterious Loch Ness and Glen Coe. Depart in the morning from the meeting point in Edinburgh city center, heading northwest and passing by the majestic Stirling Castle. A brief stop will be made in the Callander area for rest. Depending on the season, you might even spot Highland cattle. Continue through the homeland of Rob Roy, crossing Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to reach Glen Coe. Here, you'll have time to take photos and soak in the atmosphere of the valley. Passing by Loch Linnhe, a lunch stop will be made in the Fort William area. Next, head to the Great Glen, passing Ben Nevis and the picturesque Fort Augustus before arriving at Urquhart Castle. Here, you can choose to join a 1-hour Loch Ness cruise (additional cost) and explore Urquhart Castle (additional cost). If time permits, the tour will proceed to the Clansman Hotel, where you'll have 1 hour of free time. You can relax at the hotel or opt for the "Donald Fraser Whisky Experience," a roughly 30-minute in-hotel activity featuring a film about whisky-making history and a tasting of a blended whisky (additional £12 per person). The return journey to Edinburgh will take you through Cairngorms National Park and the woodlands of Perthshire, including Atholl Forest. Continuing north, we'll reach Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis—weather permitting, you might catch a glimpse of its majestic summit.
