A classic half-day tour. Rain was forecast, but the weather cooperated, so it was quite nice. Those prone to motion sickness should definitely take medication before going out to sea.

Very convenient for elderly people or young kids that can't snorkel or head into the waters to view the Great Barrier Reef. Bring basic swim gears at least even if you're not going for a swim. Worth going for a walk in the waters or a light dip. If you're not keen on buffet on a boat or the restaurant choices, bring your own lunch, or just your own snack to enjoy on the island. Go for a walk on the other end of the island. Different trails to suit different stamina. If elderly or young kids is going, it may be much comfortable to book the return boat /cruise to and from Green Island, the lunch buffet /the lunch package with Emerald Restaurant / food voucher with 1 of the eateries, book the glass bottom boat ride in lieu of the snorkeling, and the semi submarine too.

Our driver and guide, Mr. Zhang, was very humorous and dedicated to serving the tourists. He provided commentary throughout the journey and even took group photos for everyone. Although the weather was bad and it was raining, with Mr. Zhang by our side, we still had a pleasant day.

Although it was an English-speaking tour, the tour guide clearly tried hard to take care of everyone, using simple vocabulary. Before boarding, the guide even remembered where everyone was from, which was very thoughtful. The overall schedule was excellent, ensuring no one was too tired or didn't have time to use the restroom. The welcome ceremony was also very interesting, with indigenous people introducing the local culture. While in the rainforest, the guide had exceptional eyesight and spotted a wild lizard 🦎, patiently pointing everyone in the right direction – it was truly amazing. At sunset, the guide even stopped at a service area for everyone to take photos with the sunset, and proactively and enthusiastically helped take pictures – the whole experience was truly wonderful!
