Reviews: [Cotai Water Jet] Fly You to Macao - Free Ferry Tickets Offer
Guest User2025-12-25
I used this service as a solo female traveler in my 30s. I learned about the Macau government's "Free One-Way from Hong Kong to Macau Campaign" and booked through Trip.com. To sum up, the ease of booking and the smoothness of the day-of trip were all perfect, making it an incredibly rewarding experience! [Pros] • Incredible Value: I was incredibly grateful to receive the ferry fare, which would normally cost about 3,500 yen (175 HKD), for free. It allowed me to use that money to splurge on a slightly more luxurious lunch in Macau! • Smooth Booking: The Trip.com website is easy to understand in Japanese, and the process only took a few minutes. I felt at ease knowing the voucher arrived promptly. • On-the-Day Procedures: I simply presented my passport and the reservation screen on my smartphone at the ticket counter in Sheung Wan, and my ticket was issued smoothly. The staff were experienced, so I had no trouble at all. [Onboard] I used the Cotai Water Jet. The interior was clean, the air conditioning was just right, and the approximately one-hour boat ride was very comfortable. Free Wi-Fi was also available, which made it convenient for checking out Macau's tourist attractions during the trip.
Reviews: [Instant Ticketing] [Cotai Water Jet] Enjoy Macau - Free Boat Ticket Promotion
Guest User2025-12-25
Booking was super easy, with a 0 baht promotion. But it was raining the day we went, so we changed our minds and didn't take the ferry 🥹. However, Macau has a lot of free transportation options these days, both ferries and buses. We'll try the ferry next time!

Process was very easy. Trip.com provides you with a QR code, they scan it, you go through immigration and then they provide you with your seat ticket with a QR code where you could order food or drinks onboard.
Reviews: Cotai Water Jet Boat Ticket - one-way (Macau Taipa → Hong Kong Sheung Wan)
Guest User2025-12-30
Since I couldn't predict my return time, I bought the ticket just before departure, about two hours before, but it was smooth and I was able to board the ferry immediately using the QR code that arrived! If I arrived at the terminal early, I could have boarded the earlier flight if there was space available.
