Highlights
■ The reserved seat coupons can be exchanged for one time, and the reserved seats need to be exchanged separately (The reservation is at the green machine or green window).
■ When the number of reserved seats is used up or there is no prior redemption of the reserved seat ticket, the ticket can be used to take the free seat directly.
[Eligibility]
1. A rail pass user must be holding a passport issued by a foreign government.
2.A rail pass user must be entering in Japan as a "Temporary Visitor".
"Temporary Visitor" is a status of residence defined under Japanese immigration law.
[How to use]
■Green ticket-vending machine
1. Confirmation email will be sent to the appointed email address once the booking is made.
2. Please go to green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical ticket by scanning QR code of e-ticket and non-Japanese passport. (Operation menus of machine can be displayed in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or Korean.)

※If the machine breaks down or the passport have no IC chip, please proceed to JR-WEST Ticket Office to exchange physical ticket.
3. Then, the physical pass is successfully redeemed.
4. Exchanging reserved seat tickets: before getting on the train, please go to green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical reserved seat tickets by the area pass.

‧Use ticket on automated ticket gate.
※Please use the manual entrance of the station ticket inspector when automated ticket gate is not available due to magnetic ticket out of work.
‧Ticket only be used once on the valid area.
‧Ticket cannot be used again once out of station.
‧The valid are and validity period of ticket cannot be changed or refunded.
‧Ticket is not be reissued even if lost or stolen.
‧If any discrepancies arise between the foreign language and Japanese versions of the carriage conditions, the Japanese version has precedence.
‧If the reserved seat cannot be used due to seats fulled and other reasons, the price difference between the non-reserved and the reserved seat is not refunded.

Holders of passports issued by governments other than Japan ※Including guests who have obtained a foreign permanent residence permit. Guests with Japanese nationality are not allowed to use it. Hold a status of residence equivalent to "Temporary Visitor" ※"Temporary Visitor" is a status of residence stipulated in the Japanese Immigration Control Act. Study visa and work visa holders cannot use it.
※If the reserved seats are unavailable due to reasons such as being full, the difference in price between unreserved seats and reserved seats will not be refunded. We apologize for your understanding.
Cancellation is free during the validity period. After redeeming the physical ticket, you can go to the green window in the station to pay the handling fee (10% of the purchase price) for refund and change.
