[Install eSIM]
Check that the device supports the eSIM function: enter *#06# on the dial screen. If EID is displayed, it means that eSIM is supported; if not, eSIM cannot be used.
 
▶ In-app Installation for iOS (Android not supported for this method)
• Go to the Trip.com APP order page and tap "Install"
 
▶ Scan QR Code to install
• iOS: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM
• Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM
• Google: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM
 
If you cannot scan the code, you can manually enter the SM-DP +Address and Activation Code in the order voucher to "Install"
 
[Using eSIM]
Tag your eSIM mobile network plan with Trip for easy identification.
1. Turn off the mobile data of the original SIM card, confirm that the eSIM is enabled, and set it as the default mobile data
2. Enable the data roaming function of the eSIM
3. If you cannot connect, please manually set the APN and restart the phone (see below for details)

In most cases, the APN will be set automatically. If you cannot access the Internet, please refer to the order voucher page to manually set it:
• iOS: Settings → Cellular → [eSIM] → Cellular Data Network
• Samsung: Settings → Connections → Mobile network → Access Point Names → Add and Save
• Google: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Access Point Names → Add and Save

Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
Cancellation is not allowed once the product is activated.
Important note

[eSIM installation and reset instructions]

• If an error message appears when scanning the QR Code, please first confirm whether the eSIM has been successfully added in "Settings → Cellular Network" on the device.

• If you install it before arriving at destination, you may see a message such as "Activating" or "Unable to activate eSIM". Do not delete it. You can temporarily turn off eSIM and turn it on again after arriving.


[eSIM activation reminder]

The eSIM will be automatically activated after you arrive at destination and complete the installation. If you purchase a plan that covers multiple countries, please do not install it in any supported country in advance to avoid premature activation and affecting the validity period and rights.


[Network and connection precautions]

Signal quality may be affected by factors such as location, terrain, building shielding, number of users and weather. Actual connection conditions depend on the coverage of local operators. When 5G is not available, the device will automatically connect to 4G/LTE.
