Day 1Get your sunglasses and sunscreen ready as you leave London for the sunny south of the Isle of Wight. First, you'll travel to the ancient port City of Portsmouth. This busy place blends modern wonders with centuries of seafaring tales. Climb the 170-meter-high Spinnaker Tower for views of the city, the Isle of Wight, and England's south coast. Stroll along the Historic Port Trail or visit the remains of King Henry VIII's tragic warship, the Mary Rose, before meeting your Guide at Gunwharf Terminal to board your ferry. Even if you are not a sea lover, fishing or ocean dweller, you will find this ferry trip enjoyable. The trip takes less than an hour and there are ample Food and Beverages and beverages available on board. Your first stop on the Isle of Wight is Quarr Abbey, an important religious site with a beautiful mix of French, Byzantine and Moorish design. In the early evening you will arrive in the unforgettable picturesque village of Shanklin, just in time for an early Dinner. Perhaps it's time to try some seafood? Day 2Today you'll explore the unmissable highlights of the Isle of Wight. After Breakfast, head to the Yarborough Monument, the tallest monument on the island, commemorating the life of a wealthy 19th century earl. You continue to the Brading Downs to enjoy beautiful views of green fields before heading to Osborne House. Queen Victoria once said, “It is difficult to imagine a more beautiful spot.” We agree. Osborne House was Queen Victoria’s holiday home, and as you explore this Italianate-style building you’ll discover neat green gardens, ornate golden rooms and historically significant artifacts. After admiring this man-made wonder, it’s time to check out the Isle of Wight’s beautiful natural wonder – the Needles. These sharp white rocks jutting out of the sea are very beautiful. You can get up close to them by boat and visit the ancient defensive turrets nearby. Our final stop of the day was the cliffs of St. Catherine's Down. These dramatic cliffs and green valleys looked absolutely beautiful as the sun began to set. You will return to Sankrin for Dinner. 3rd dayIt's day 3. But cheer up, because we have some really great sights saved for today. In the morning you'll say goodbye to Sanklin and take the ferry back to Portsmouth. After reintegrating into the mainland, we will take you to one of England's most historic City- Winchester. But visiting Winchester is not easy, as there is so much to do. There is a spectacular cathedral, old mills, cute cafes, and more than enough museums. Once you have had time to explore this wonderful City, it is time to go home. On the way back to London, you will make a brief stop in Runnymede; home to the Magna Carta and a cornerstone of modern democracy, and arrive in London in the evening.
