We went on a Fitzroy island tour with Sunlover Reef Cruise.
What I loved about this tour was the time duration on Fitzroy Island. You get to experience Fitzroy island more than enough in a day!
We went on a hike, went to the Nudey beach, snorkelling around & spent a day on Nudey Beach exploring!
While we were waiting for the boat to go back to Cairns, we spotted some sea turtles on the jetty.
Boat came around 5pm and we could enjoy the pre sunset sky at Fitzroy island which was absolutely beautiful ✨
All the staff I have spoken to on the boat, they were all friendly and professional.
I highly recommend to book Fitzroy island tour with Sunlover Reef Cruise! It was definitely worth the money.★

A full-day trip to Magic Reef was the best thing that ever happened to us in Cairns. The boat takes us to a pontoon, and for five hours we enjoy everything we can, snorkeling, diving, a glass-bottom boat, and even a fish-feeding show. We had a delicious lunch with fruit and shrimp. We were touched by the friendliness of the crew; everyone was so nice and ready to help at any time.★

Very convenient for elderly people or young kids that can't snorkel or head into the waters to view the Great Barrier Reef. Bring basic swim gears at least even if you're not going for a swim. Worth going for a walk in the waters or a light dip. If you're not keen on buffet on a boat or the restaurant choices, bring your own lunch, or just your own snack to enjoy on the island. Go for a walk on the other end of the island. Different trails to suit different stamina. If elderly or young kids is going, it may be much comfortable to book the return boat /cruise to and from Green Island, the lunch buffet /the lunch package with Emerald Restaurant / food voucher with 1 of the eateries, book the glass bottom boat ride in lieu of the snorkeling, and the semi submarine too.★

We loved the tour! Everything was on time! Everything was easy to find! The buffet was wonderful, with a wide selection for every taste! It's a shame the seafood was only shrimp, but that's okay. Our highlight was the helicopter ride over Mur Reef, and there was a catch: they rescheduled our flight three times, so I ended up flying backwards. When you're paying that kind of money, you want to sit comfortably and be able to photograph the reef through an open window, not through glass. There wasn't an open window on my side.
