The area was once famous for its wool production, the remains of which can still be seen today. On this experience we will visit three picturesque villages tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, with their honey-coloured limestone period architecture and rich cultural heritage. Relax and enjoy the English countryside with an expert guide in a luxury minivan.</p><p><img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/0353012000ceexhb55372_Z_1000_0.jpg"></p><h2>【Burford】</h2><p>Burford is known as the gateway to the Cotswolds. Its High Street slopes down from the high Wolds, where you can enjoy beautiful views over open countryside down to the willow-lined River Windrush in the beautiful Windrush valley. You may choose to browse Burford's many small shops for Cotswold cheeses, quality meats, fresh cakes, antiques and books.</p><p><br></p><h2>【Bibury】</h2><p>When you visit Bibury, you may think you've stepped back in time to another era. Attractions in Bibury include Arlington Row, a row of 17th-century weavers' cottages built from local stone, next to the River Coln. It is one of the most photographed areas in the region and was chosen as a location for the 2007 film Stardust. Bibury Trout Farm and a Saxon church are nearby. The River Colum flows between the village's main street and water meadows: with Alrington Row as a backdrop, it makes up the Cotswolds landscape.</p><p><br></p><h2>【Burton on the Water】</h2><p>Often named the Venice of the Cotswolds, Burton on the Water has a unique appeal for visitors and residents alike. Known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, this village boasts an abundance of attractions, shops, restaurants and tea rooms, or you can enjoy a peaceful time on the banks of the River Windrush, which is spanned by five arched bridges. Burton Water is best known for its tranquil river. The river is formed by the confluence of many springs, with its source about 10 miles from the village, and the flow continued even during the drought of 1976. The river enters the centre of the village from rapids beside the Old Mill, and its clear waters flow under an arched stone bridge and past a green made of Cotswold stone. The earliest Christian remains at Burton on the Water date back to 709 AD, when a wooden church was built on land donated by the local king, with the church centred on Evesham Abbey. Today, the parish church remains at the centre of the lively worshipping community in the village of Burton on the Water, offering a warm welcome to visitors.</p><p><br></p><p><img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/0351n12000ceex5u22254_Z_1000_0.jpg"></p><h2><strong>Return journey</strong></h2><p>1.
