When viewed from Jinshan, it looks like a giant turtle diving into the sea, so it is also called "Yehliu Turtle". Due to wave erosion, rock weathering and crustal movement, various unique landscapes have been created, including sea caves, candle-shaped rocks, mushroom-shaped rocks, tofu rocks, honeycomb rocks, potholes, and dissolution plates. The Queen's Head, Fairy Shoes, Candlestick Rock, etc. are internationally famous sea erosion wonders.The "candlelight" of the candlestick rock is actually a hard spherical concretion in the rock layer. Because it is more resistant to sea erosion, the conical top is exposed. The seawater flows back and forth along its edge, forming a ring groove.
