The Nankai limited express Rapi:t is a rapid train connecting Osaka Namba and Kansai International Airport, taking only 34 minutes for a one-way trip. Its design concept blends retro and futuristic elements, with the train's front shape showcasing speed and power, complemented by oval windows inspired by aircraft. Rapi:t is not only renowned for its unique design but also offers a comfortable and efficient travel experience, reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h, providing passengers with a convenient transportation option.

Adult: Age 12+

Passengers under 12 years old must purchase tickets on-site. One paying adult can bring up to two children aged 0–5 for free, provided they don't occupy separate seats.

How to use

Select the link in your confirmation document to choose your train and reserve a seat. On your travel date, a boarding QR code will be issued for scanning at the dedicated station gates.

Note: The QR code cannot be distributed to fellow travelers. Please have the representative perform the action using their mobile device.

After purchase, seat reservations must be completed at least 5 min before the desired train's departure time. Online reservations for the express train's travel date, time, train number, and seat are required before use.

Present your e-ticket to redeem shopping discount vouchers for use at Namba City, Namba Parks, and Namba Sky. Redemption locations: Namba Parks 2F information center and Namba City main building B2F information center. Vouchers can only be redeemed on the day of travel.

Change & cancellation policies

If a cancellation request is submitted before 23:59 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of £1.05 per item will be charged.

If a cancellation request is submitted after 23:59 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.

This product cannot be canceled after ticket activation, or reservation.

If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.

Partial refund is not available.

After purchase, you must make an online reservation for the limited express train's travel date, time, train number, and seat assignment before use.

After purchasing the ticket, you must complete the seat reservation at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time of your desired train.

The QR code will be displayed from 04:00 JST on the day of travel. It will not be shown before this time.

If you need to change your reservation, the modification must be completed at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the booked train, and changes are limited to 2 times.

You can purchase up to 8 tickets for arrival at Kansai Airport and 8 tickets for departure from Kansai Airport on the same day.

When purchasing multiple tickets in one transaction, they cannot be used separately. Tickets from the same booking must be used for the same train.

Please use the dedicated e-ticket gates. E-tickets cannot be used at stations without dedicated e-ticket gates or through regular ticket gates.

If you are unable to present the e-ticket due to loss, malfunction, or battery depletion of your mobile device, the ticket cannot be used. In such cases, the e-ticket cannot be reissued or refunded.

Only standard seats can be reserved. Changes to business class seats are not permitted.

If you disembark midway, the ticket cannot be used again.

Only presenting a screenshot of the QR code will not allow entry to the station.

Rapi:t α does not stop at Sakai station.

※Due to system maintenance, seats cannot be booked between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM Japan time.

※ Recommended environment for e-ticket use: iOS 15 or later/Safari, Android 10.0 or later/Chrome. Please disable dark mode on your phone when using.

※Please enter through the dedicated e-ticket entrance. Entry is not available at stations without designated e-ticket gates or through regular ticket gates.

When reserving a limited express seat, the system will redirect to an external website. When operating on this external site, please do not use the browser back button. Otherwise, the seat info may not be displayed.
