But before you leave, be sure to get to know the town a little better and take a wilderness cruise along Doubtful Sound. The tour will start with a short boat trip on Lake Manapouri and a bus trip to Wilmot Pass. There, you'll have the chance to see the beauty of Doubtful Sound from high above! Then, hop aboard a catamaran called Patea Explorer. During this relaxing cruise, you'll witness the picturesque surroundings of the sound, including rugged peaks, lush rainforests, and crystal clear waters. You might even spot some dolphins, fur seals, and penguins along the way!
