Sooooo cool! Yes, the drive is long and the snorkeling time is only 20-30 minutes, but it's all worth it! Whale sharks are simply amazing creatures, and even 20 minutes with them is worth the tiring drive. The sardine storm is also a magical phenomenon, and you can also see turtles in this same spot. This tour allows you to see all these wonders in one go! Our group consisted of only four people, although up to 10 travelers were booked. The guide didn't speak English very well, but he did his job well, taking us everywhere and getting tickets.★

It was a tiring journey. We stayed in Shangri-La and it took eight hours to go back and forth. We watched whale sharks for half an hour. It was worth it, but it was too far. The driver drove a five-seater car and spoke some basic English. It is still necessary to know some English for an independent tour group. At least communication is much smoother. I practiced speaking and listening for a whole day. The driver left at 1 a.m. and came home at 8 p.m. The service was very good. I was afraid he would fall asleep while driving the whole way. I gave a tip when I left. The amount depends on your preference. For reference only.Trip.com Picks
