Today we went on a half-day tour of Auckland with Lenna, our wonderful tour guide. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she provided us with a lot of information on the places we visited, from the amazing Domain Wintergardens’ array of flowers to the stunning Mount Eden views.★

Fantastic views from this Harbour cruise. A little confusion with the pier number, but we figured it out at the end and staff were there to help. The upstairs got full pretty quick so we sat downstairs, which was fine except the windows needed a good clean.★

Such a great trip! Grant (or Grant but in a kiwi accent) was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture and history during the long van rides. Glowworm caves were cool but the highlight for me was definitely the geysers. The whole experience was great and am so grateful that they offer a trip like this including transport since Rotorua is quite a distance away.
Note: this experience did not include a Māori performance or haka. If I read the description better I wouldve known that but that is the only thing I was a little bummed about. The experience is great, but just note what is actually included if thats what you are looking for.
