Day 1Leaving Dublin behind, you'll travel north to Belfast, a City known for its industrial heritage and turbulent history. You'll take a brief City tour to learn about the achievements, tragedies, and soul of this capital city.Afterwards, you have time for Lunch and exploration in the Titanic Quarter, a redeveloped centre where the famous RMS Titanic was built and launched. Here you can visit the award-winning Titanic Museum, board the HMS Caroline or take a black Taxi tour of the City.Leaving busy Belfast behind, you'll pass through the spectacular scenery of the Antrim Coast and Glens, an official attraction of ​​Outstanding Natural Beauty.Following the winding road from Ballycastle, you'll enter the Standard Price Giant's Causeway, a place where history and mythology collide spectacularly and raw geological forces emerge. After bidding farewell to the giant's footsteps, you'll head to Portrush, a charming fishing village and your accommodation for the night. Day 2You'll travel to Derry, a 17th-century walled City with 7 ornate gates. Along the way, there'll be plenty of time for walking, photographing and soaking up the local culture before arriving in Donegal for the night. 3rd dayThis morning you'll drive south along the coast from Donegal into County Sligo, an area famous for its dramatic Benbulben mountain landscape.Just outside Sligo Town, at Carrowmore, you have the opportunity to visit Ireland's largest collection of megalithic tombs, some dating back more than 6,000 years.Heading west, you'll enter County Mayo, an area badly affected by the Great Famine. Winding roads pass through picturesque farmland, moorland and open moorland, with views of the hills in the distance and the Atlantic coast, where you'll visit dramatic Achill Island. Here you'll have time to savor the rugged coast and tranquil beauty. From here, it's a short trip to Westport, which will be your accommodation for the next two nights. Day 4Today you will explore Westport and Connemara National Park. The itinerary is flexible and your Guide will ensure you choose a route that suits the weather.Your options include visiting beautiful Kylemore Abbey and its grounds, Connemara National Park, Clifden (where the first transatlantic flight landed), the Sky Road and the Twelve Bens of Connemara.After an Standard Price day of exploring, you'll return to Westport to dine in one of the town's restaurants and sample delicious local seafood. Day 5Travelling through the heart of Connemara, you'll arrive in the town of Cong, on the shores of Lough Corrib. The area was the setting for the film The Quiet Standard Price, and you can spend some time exploring the local film museum. Alternatively, you can visit the beautifully restored 12th-century Cong Abbey.Your route then passes through the Maam Valley, a spectacular pass surrounded by beautiful mountains on both sides.
