Such a great trip! Grant (or Grant but in a kiwi accent) was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture and history during the long van rides. Glowworm caves were cool but the highlight for me was definitely the geysers. The whole experience was great and am so grateful that they offer a trip like this including transport since Rotorua is quite a distance away. Note: this experience did not include a Māori performance or haka. If I read the description better I wouldve known that but that is the only thing I was a little bummed about. The experience is great, but just note what is actually included if thats what you are looking for.

David is amazing tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and professional. The tour is a great experience that is hard to miss if your are visiting New Zealand. The Waitamo Cave tour is more impressive than the description. The hobbitown is like a paradise. We were able to get free drinks during our trip. Umbrella is available to borrow if it starts raining. We were able to go inside the hobbit house and check out the fine furnitures. These two places are worth the trip.

Nice small group tour with guide Timmy in minibus. Gave us info on Auckland and countryside along the way. Took about 2 hrs to Hobbiton movie set/tour. Then we boarded their bus and had new guide Andrew around the farm and attractions. Timmy picked us up and traveled back to Auckland. Only negative was limited time for lunch and giftshop. Otherwise great tour.


