Great trip, though exhausting if you want to reach the top of the great wall first (red route), since there's still a fair amount of walking to do after. Go for the green route (the toboggan) unless you're an experienced hiker. For amateur hikers (like us), I'd have taken the green route since it's much less demanding. Awesome service though, awesome guide, highly recommend. Max is an amazing guide, gave us interesting lore and amazing tips on Beijing tourism too. His tips saved us a few hundred yuan after the tour, so the tour practically paid for itself! Love ya Max!!

Excellent tour! Our guide, Pasha, speaks fluent Russian and knows his job well. He took us everywhere (where possible) without waiting in lines, adjusted the route when requested, and gave engaging insights into the sights. We were picked up and dropped off as scheduled, in a comfortable, new car.

The entire trip went smoothly! Our tour guide, Zhang Hong, contacted us the day before the trip to inform us of the departure time and meeting point in detail. The guide's explanations were thorough and humorous. We arrived at the Great Wall on time and climbed it with almost no queue. On the way back, we also stopped near the Bird's Nest for photos; the scenery was beautiful, and overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommended!

The person who guided me was very kind, so I felt at ease during the trip. The slopes are steep, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Make sure to find out which car you're going to before you meet up. I mistakenly got into the wrong car. I was quickly dropped off, but the driver in charge was kind and came to pick me up. Use the restroom beforehand. There might be restrooms at the Great Wall, but you can't use them while waiting in line for the cable car. The lines are very long.
