The guide was definitely the highlight of the tour. The passion and fervor with which he described and explained the two monuments made everything even more beautiful and solemn. The Boyana Church is small but still charming. The two-hour drive to the monastery isn't ideal, but upon arrival, the beauty of the place makes up for it. Highly recommended if you're in the Sofia area.

A spectacular day. The bus is comfortable and the explanation is simple, given by a very friendly guide. You have plenty of time to hike up and down and enjoy the seven lakes. It's a very special place. The visit to the monastery is wonderful. You also have plenty of time to do it and the guide gives great tips. You return to Sofia at night tired but very happy. 100% recommended.

Mikhail was very good. He was with us on every step of the way. The journey was smooth and everything went well. Rila Monastery was a nice sight in the Rila Mountains. The SPA at Aqua Club (Kotvata) was very nice with the mountains behind. Very good selection of thermal pools and Saunas. Incredible contrast pool as well.


