The driver and guide, Ken, arrived early to wait outside the hotel, and the trip went smoothly. We were given ample time to visit the attractions. The afternoon restaurant was delicious, and the driving was safe and steady. The durian farm owner explained the different varieties; although a bit pricey, the durians were truly delicious. I highly recommend taking this chartered tour to experience the local culture.

Like the Hong Kong cable car, the Penang Hill cable car climbs at a nearly 30-degree angle, offering beautiful natural scenery along the way. You can stay here a bit longer. Unfortunately, I only booked two hours. Just after leaving the cable car station, I encountered some adorable monkeys (I don't know their names), which cheered me up.
