**first day:**Learn about monastic life at picturesque Quarr AbbeyDepart the mainland and take a ferry to the Isle of WightToday, you'll depart from London and head to the sunny south of the Isle of Wight. First, you'll head to the ancient port City of Portsmouth. This busy place blends modern wonders with centuries of maritime stories. Here you can grab a bite to eat before Guide takes you to Gunwharf Terminal to catch your ferry. Even if you are not a sea lover, you will find this ferry trip very enjoyable. The journey takes less than an hour and there is a rich Food and Beverages service on board. Your first stop on the Isle of Wight is the important religious site of Quarr Abbey, a stunning blend of French, Byzantine and Moorish architecture. In the evening you will arrive in the unforgettable picturesque village of Shanklin, just in time for Breakfast. Perhaps now is a good time to try some seafood? **the next day:**Explore Osborne House, an example of eleganceReflect on the power of the ocean at the Needle sea stacksToday you will discover the unmissable highlights of the Isle of Wight. After Breakfast you will head to Yarborough Monument, the tallest monument on the island, commemorating a wealthy earl from the 19th century. You will then enjoy a photo stop at the Brading Downs with beautiful green field views before heading to Osborne House. Queen Victoria once said, “It is hard to imagine a prettier spot.” You’ll discover that Osborne House was Queen Victoria’s holiday home, and as you explore this Italianate building you’ll discover neat green gardens, richly decorated golden rooms, and historic artifacts. After this man-made wonder, it’s time to check out the Isle of Wight’s beautiful natural wonders, the Needles. These sharp white rock stacks jut out of the sea and are quite spectacular. You can get up close to them by boat and head to an old defensive battery nearby. Our final stop of the day was at the cliffs of St Catherine’s Down. As the sun began to set, these dramatic cliffs and green valleys looked absolutely stunning. You will return to Shanklin in time for Dinner. **Day 3:**Soak up as much history as you can in the City of WinchesterMarvel at Stonehenge, this mighty stone circle stands as a testimony to the beliefs of our ancestorsIn the morning you say goodbye to Shanklin and take the ferry back to Portsmouth. After returning to the mainland, we will take you to Winchester, one of the most historic City in the UK. But visiting Winchester is not easy, as there is so much to do. There is a magnificent cathedral, an old mill, cute cafes, and more than enough museums. In the midst of this busy City, you join a new driving Guide and head to a place equally profound but far more tranquil: Stonehenge. This UNESCO World Heritage site has been masterfully preserved. At the award-winning visitor centre you can view exhibitions of hundreds of prehistoric objects from the Stonehenge collection. You can travel to this world-famous stone circle by joining the overland Train Tickets. Afterwards, you will travel to Exeter, an important fortress City in Roman times, where you will stay for two nights. **Day 4:**Explore the beauty of Dartmoor's remote wilderness, where wild ponies graze in the shadows of mountaintop granite bouldersExplore Tavistock, the birthplace of famous British maritime explorer Sir Francis DrakeCross the medieval miners' Clapper Bridge and explore the stunning landscape of remote Dartmoor, where you can see brooding native wild ponies grazing beside dramatic rock formations. Dartmoor also has a rich and diverse flora and fauna, so enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of this remote beauty. At Postbridge you'll cross the ancient Clapper Bridge before heading to the historic town of Tavistock, the birthplace of Sir Francis Drake. The return to Exeter is in the early afternoon, providing you with plenty of time to explore the City's ancient riches at a leisurely pace. The city walls, the Norman Cathedral, the Royal Albert Memorial and the docklands all await your exploration. **Day 5:**Delve into the heart of Arthurian legend and the Celtic kingdom of Cornwall.Relax in the charming Elizabethan fishing village of BoscastleWander the cliff-top ruins of Tintagel Castle, the legendary birthplace of King ArthurArthurian legend meets real Celtic history in Cornwall, a county in western England. You'll head to the north Cornish coast to visit the Elizabethan fishing village of Boscastle, where you can enjoy a cream tea, stroll to the dramatic headland, or learn a spell or two at the Witchcraft Museum. Next, you'll head to the village of Tintagel and the ruins of Tintagel Castle on its headland, whose romantic cliff-top setting is said to be the birthplace of King Arthur. After Lunch, you'll head to the village of Port Isaac, famous for its picturesque fishing village, where you can experience the charm of "Doc Martin". You'll then head south to the busy port town of Falmouth for the night, where you'll stay for the next two nights. **Day 6:**Learn about England's unique alternative culture at the Minack Theatre, an outdoor theatre carved into a granite cliff facing the seaStanding at Land’s End, the western tip of Great BritainToday we will explore the West End of England. We will stop briefly to see the island community of St Michael’s Mount. Afterwards we head to the Minack Theatre, set above the roaring ocean, and the beautiful National Trust beach at Porthcurno. You’ll visit Land’s End, then follow a landscape dotted with Cornish tin mining heritage, now used as a filming location for the Poldark series. St Ives is the final stop of the day, with its many artists’ galleries tucked away in its narrow harbourside streets. You will return to Falmouth for the night. **Day 7:**Explore Bodmin Moor, famous for its feared beasts, Arthurian legends, and smugglers at the Jamaica InnVisit world-famous Glastonbury, associated with Arthurian legend and an annual music festivalThis morning you'll say goodbye to Cornwall and travel across the wild Bodmin Moor, designated an attraction of ​​Outstanding Natural Beauty. We’ll take a short break before leaving Cornwall and continuing to Glastonbury, where you can visit the ruins of a 7th century monastery, enjoy a Lunch, or climb Glastonbury Tor to admire views of the Five Counties.
