We had a beautiful day with Nico - he was a fantastic guide and beautiful person. The cave of Zeus was closed so Nico improvised- he knows so many people in the mountains - so he was able to take us to a local family who makes fresh goat yogurt- that we were able to sample. He took us to a lovely mountain top restaurant , sampled the fresh produce of the mountains and great history lesson of Crete. The palace of Knossos was incredible to see and experience. Nico made the day incredible and special for us.★

This was surely the most interesting and unique excursion we did in Crete! Spyros was an amazing driver and guide, showing us off-the-beaten path scenery in the Lasithi Plateau and nearby small mountain towns. We picked and enjoyed fresh strawberries, drank delicious wine and so much more, in addition to visiting the Palace of Knossos. Highly recommend!★

Highly recommend booking this!
We had such a fun time and the experiences and memories will last a lifetime. Mike our tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable and it really made our time that much better.
The stops were each unique and had something to offer everyone.
Lunch was so delicious and the location beautiful!★

Aliki was an excellent guide. She shared how life ve of the culture and history of her country with enthusiasm! She took us to several restaurants and one market. We started with bougatsa, a cheese and phyllo dough creation which was delicious. After we ate it, she took us around the corner to a storefront where we watched locals make it!
We also tasted kalitsounia, sampled olives and cheeses at the local market and finished in the town square with a selection of 5 different dishes which were all excellent!
Aliki was also patient and understanding with one member of our party who had a recent knee replacement and was a bit slower than Aliki was used to walking!
Definitely a recommended tour!
