We had a wonderful tour with our fantastic guide, Luvuyo! He shared many interesting facts about life in the township, and we met lots of lovely people and gained authentic insights. We felt extremely safe at all times, not only because of Luvuyo's presence but also because it quickly became clear that many concerns about the townships are based on prejudice. Our only suggestion would be to book a slightly later tour than 9 AM, as some shops weren't open that early. Of course, there were offers to buy various crafts, but we never felt pressured, and the focus was always on showcasing the goods and the stories of the people behind them. This tour is definitely a must-do during a Cape Town holiday! P.S.: It's worth bringing the exact amount of cash, as the guide shares his tips with the orphanage and other organizations.★
