Value for money tour to Longji Rice Terrace. Left at 8am along with another 5 travellers( MPV sits 8 travellers), and arrived around 10.30am at Ping An village. Walked up to the Nine Dragon & Five Tiger Viewing platform, which gives a great view of the area. Then, it was a lunch break followed by visit to Jin Keng, which had a different vibe. Then a short visit to the Yao Tribe village which had many closed stores ( as it was the winter). And ride back to Guilin arriving by 6.15pmâ

We joined a one-day tour from Kyoto, departing from Kyoto Station at 9:40 AM and returning around 6 PM. The day was incredibly fulfilling. The waters of Amanohashidate were crystal clear, and the Ine Boathouse was ancient and unique. Our tour guide, Cui Haihua, spoke both Chinese and Korean, and provided detailed explanations. The itinerary was well-organized, and the guides made the trip relaxing and enjoyable. Highlights: The cable car and boat ride are a must-try; it's a worthwhile experience.â

1ď¸âŁ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
â Take the cable car to the top (round trip ÂĽ720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
â Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2ď¸âŁ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
â Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
â Rent a bicycle (ÂĽ500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3ď¸âŁ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
â Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ÂĽ800).

This route is beautiful, but the only downside is that it's quite far. It takes about three hours from Osaka and two hours from Kyoto, so a day trip would definitely be a quick tour. Joining a tour group is more convenient, and the ability to get off in both Kyoto and Osaka is a great bonus! I was very satisfied with our guide, Hu Jun. His explanations of the attractions were clear and thorough. He sent us the locations of each attraction the day before and on the day of the tour. He even used WeChat Line to distinguish between groups from different regions. His service was attentive and highly praised!â

I like the places we went. The activities are fun especially the feeding of seagulls. Our tour guide, Bunny is friendly and helpful. She took nice photos for us and will find out with the local staff with our enquiry. She can speak Chinese, English and Japanese. Good experience. Highly recommended.â

This trip to Mount Fuji was absolutely worth it! The crystal-clear mountain scenery was breathtaking, every view was like a painting. Our tour guide, Mianmian, was incredibly dedicated, meticulously planning the itinerary, providing detailed and engaging explanations, and even thoughtfully taking countless beautiful photos of everyone's smiles against the backdrop of Mount Fuji's magnificence.
