I highly recommend this tour! The national park is beautiful! The forest with its trails is fascinating. The city of Ramsau is worthy of beautiful photos. And the lake? Unmissable! Those with reduced mobility will find it a bit challenging to navigate the forest.★

This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.Trip.com picks
