We had a beautiful day weather wise. Our guide Jack was knowledgeable and entertaining. Did an informative if short tour of the Glen Ord Distillery, a quick stop at Loch Ness - no sign of Nessie- for photos, lunch at Victoria Market in Inverness and then on to Cawdor castle. Beautiful grounds and very interesting tour of the castle. It was a great day.

We were picked up at Union Square, the bus station. At first, I was a little confused because I thought it was right at the front where Flixbus stops, but no, you had to go around the corner. Alan, the guide, was easily recognizable in his kilt and gave us all a warm welcome. Overall, Alan was very organized, always gave clear announcements, and was an excellent bus driver. I always felt safe. The excursion itself was wonderful; we had great weather. The landscape is truly beautiful, and Alan told us a lot about the local nature, about the sheep, pheasants, and Highland cattle. We even saw some, and Alan had carrots with him to lure them! 😀 We also made significantly more photo stops than I had expected. Alan knows all the interesting spots and is very knowledgeable about the area, which is fantastic. Tip: Buy all your souvenirs and whisky at the Highland Market. It's very reasonably priced, and they can ship whisky to you.

We were a family group of 8 and we toured with Stuart, who picked us up in a van from our hotel for a day tour of various Highland locations. What a fantastic day with a customized tour. Stuart was so knowledgeable of the local area and provided us with an outstanding day tour of so many different sites. I would highly recommend this tour if you are in the Inverness area!
