Chef Spyrios was patient, informative and entertaining from the outset of the evening. He was clear with his instructions and very open with his approach - nothing was too much trouble. It was so good to get all the hints to make these Greek dishes the traditional way and they all tasted delicious even if we had made them ourselves. We have done a few other cooking classes during our travels but this one rates at number one the Chef Spyrios is the reason. He should get all the credit for this.

This was one of the best food tours I have done . I always do a food tour in a new destination to orient myself and this ticked all the boxes . Usually on food tours , they put in a few mediocre stops as well but every place we visited had merit. Christina was amazing giving us a blend of ancient history , culture and social commentary. She is one of those charismatic people that makes everyone feel special . If I wasn’t married and unable to speak Greek , I would have considered proposing to her 😀😀😀

My adult son and I went on this food tour prior to departing for our Mediterranean cruise in June 2025because I had such a wonderful time when I took other family members back in September 2022. And it was just as wonderful as the first time! Our tour guide was so personable, knowledgeable, and made it such a fun experience for all the different ages that attended! The food was absolutely delicious and it was a way to spend our one full night in Athens! Thank you so much and I will definitely be bringing more family back next time!


