To know, understand and see first hand Soweto you need someone who truly grasps the history in the past and present, and is a member of the community . Maweza is that person. Great tour guide.

The tour bus has a very long route and is a lifesaver for anyone familiar with Johannesburg's public transportation system: it's mostly one-way minibuses with congested traffic. This bus runs on schedule and is especially useful for those visiting Soeto.

Excellent. Clean, safe. The headphones worked well and the explanations were spot-on, allowing me to get to know Johannesburg very well. The Soweto optional tour was well worth it. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about the places and highly recommends it. It takes almost a full day, so I recommend taking the first tour so you'll have time to walk around and have dinner in the Rosebank on your way back. Thank you, Mr. Happy.
