Danish was awesome very nice and I learned so much it’s a great tour the caves are very cool and he was very helpful with me getting there I was a little lost and he talked to my uber driver he really went above and beyond and provided water which was great for Mumbai heat

The tour with Sam of the Elephanta Caves was excellent. The statues carved into the mountain inside the cave are spectacular. More than 1600 yrs old.

Hour long ferry ride with Shuaib to the island, short ride on a mini train to the caves and tour with a local. Both were very attentive and fun to talk to. I went on a group tour (which was only one more traveler) and felt completely safe, no awkward situations whatsoever as a woman traveling alone. Shuaib took very good care of us including bottled water or sodas. Make sure you text the tour operator on Whatsapp a day or so before to confirm hotel pickup or any other accomodations.

Where do I begin?! Chirag designed a private tour for us and oh my goodness, what a day! We got up at 5 am to get to the wholesale flower market and the fruit & vegetable markets. Wow! A feast for the eyes! Sassoon Dock in the early morning is also a must-see. It's right up there with the flower, fruit & veg markets. Because it was a public holiday therefore not terribly busy on the trains, Chirag took us for a short train ride on a whim, just for something different. Dhobi Ghat, the open air laundry - another highlight! Chor Bizarre was an eye-opening experience because there is a sea of second-hand tools, car parts, appliances, plus a whole lot more. We visited the Dharavi slums last. Words cannot describe this part of Mumbai, and photos could never do justice to what all your senses experience. This tour is the best I've ever done so a big thank you to Chirag and also our driver, Pranav. What an amazing adventure!


