Reviews: Pamukkale Hierapolis and Cleopatra's Pool Tour with lunch from Antalya

Amazing trip and such a great experience to be in a historical place. The guide was funny and explained everything in so much detail. We had sufficient time to spend at each location. It was very hot so if you go in summer take plenty of water and an umbrella.

The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The transport was excellent and the driver was nice. We visited all the locations except the Cleopatra spring because it was under renovation. The restaurant-buffet was simple but excellent.

Very smooth and beautiful, the balloon rotated so that different views can be seen. However, it’s a little bit late to fly and the staff barely used English to update foreigners, like the landing time
Reviews: Pamukkale Small Group Tour from Kusadasi Port/Hotels

Fantastic Pamukkale Tour with Güray – Great Value & Excellent Guide We had a wonderful experience on this Pamukkale small group tour with our guide Güray. The tour started only a couple of minutes later than planned as the group was small and we needed a driver, but everything ran smoothly after that. The van was very spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of room for my mum’s wheelchair, which made the journey much easier. The drive from Kuşadası to Pamukkale took around two hours, and we first visited the Cleopatra Pools. You cannot go into the main pools themselves, but there are hot springs nearby where you can sit and relax, and also a place next door where you can enjoy some drinks. The team were so helpful with my mum’s mobility, assisting her in and out of the entrances, which made such a difference for us. We also stopped at a marble workshop, which was fascinating. They showed us how marble ornaments are created and explained the different types of marble and their benefits. There was a shop where you could buy gifts and souvenirs. The onyx cups were quite expensive at around €17 each, and the jewelry was made with real precious gems, so you’ll want to have a few euros on hand if you plan to purchase anything. The workshop was very informative and well-organized, making it a memorable part of the trip. Next, we explored the travertine terraces, which were breathtaking. There is an additional cost for the buggy ride (around 500 TL each – we had three adults), so it’s worth being aware of extra expenses. For lunch, we were taken to Villa Castillo, which was a lovely surprise – a beautiful villa with a big garden, clean seating, and very friendly staff. The buffet was fresh and delicious, with hot food included. Drinks were extra (we paid about €10 for two waters and three soft drinks), which felt a little pricey, but they were very welcome in the heat. There are also shops nearby – both at the Pamukkale Museum and at Villa Castillo – where you can pick up souvenirs and magnets. Throughout the day, Güray was an excellent guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of Turkey. He made the tour engaging and informative while also being considerate of everyone’s needs. The tour was also great value for money – much better priced than booking through our local hotel, and with such a personal, small-group experience, it felt well worth it. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and I’d highly recommend both the tour and Güray as a guide.
