Thank you to our guide, Director Yang, for accompanying and leading the tour. We took a boat tour of the Giant Buddha in the morning and a cable car to the Golden Summit in the afternoon. Mount Emei also requires a long shuttle bus ride, but there was no other way. I went to Qingcheng Mountain and Dujiangyan yesterday, and today I persevered and climbed to the summit as well. I saw the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra. Sincerity brings results; the weather was quite nice, not cold even with a sweatshirt under my short sleeves. On the way down, we encountered monkeys. The tofu pudding for dinner was different from what I'm used to in Beijing, but the group lunch was alright. A perfect day trip, highly recommended!

During the Spring Festival, tourists flocked to the area. Our guide, Tao Lu, meticulously planned a detailed itinerary for us, allowing us to efficiently and effectively complete our visits to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base and the Sanxingdui Museum. The panda guided tour was particularly lively and engaging, showing us everything from red pandas to giant pandas. We were fortunate enough to witness a large number of pandas today. In the afternoon, following Tao Lu's guide, we thoroughly visited the three main exhibition halls. We also visited the French Oceania Special Exhibition, which was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Tao Lu's professional service. In the evening, we dined according to the itinerary; the Sichuan cuisine was delicious! 😋

I was extremely satisfied with driver Xiao Cui on this trip to Dujiangyan! He was warm, honest, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. His driving skills were smooth and safe, and the car was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable ride. He was very familiar with the roads in and around Dujiangyan, and his itinerary was well-planned, avoiding detours and wasting time, making the entire trip worry-free and reassuring. Along the way, he patiently introduced local attractions and offered practical travel tips, answering all my questions—he was very reliable. He proactively helped with my luggage, and his attitude was gentle and polite. Overall, his service far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him to anyone traveling to Dujiangyan. Choosing driver Xiao Cui will definitely give you peace of mind, comfort, and confidence. I will definitely choose him again next time! If I could rate him, I would give him 100 points. The guide's explanations were professional and vivid, leaving a deep impression. The guide was very familiar with the historical background, engineering structure, and cultural value of Dujiangyan. Using easy-to-understand language, he clearly explained the working principles of the three main projects: the Fish Mouth Weir, the Feisha Weir, and the Baopingkou Weir, allowing us to truly understand the wisdom of the ancients in water management. The guided tour was well-organized and highlighted key points, making it both interesting and informative. The service was warm and attentive throughout, with a patient and friendly attitude, timely reminders of important information, and consideration for everyone's pace. Under the guide's guidance, we not only admired the magnificent water conservancy projects but also learned a wealth of historical and cultural knowledge. The entire trip was fulfilling and enjoyable, a very satisfying guided tour experience. Sanxingdui is incredibly popular; the crowds were immense. Without a guide, I doubt I could have lasted three hours. Teacher Liu led us through the throngs, introducing each important artifact one by one. From the details of the artifacts to the excavation process, from the manufacturing techniques to the underlying cultural concepts and information about cultural exchange, he explained everything in detail – it was truly eye-opening! His explanations were insightful yet easy to understand, giving the artifacts various nicknames, making them anything but boring. At the same time, he was incredibly knowledgeable, citing original texts and different academic perspectives with ease, even incorporating the latest academic developments from June 2025 into his explanations. He constantly refined his presentation, keeping things up-to-date – I'm so curious how he does it! I took notes the whole way, but the sheer volume of information meant my notes weren't complete; I'll have to find more relevant materials to supplement them later!


