Such an amazing place and quite eye opening. Our tour guide was amazing and her name was Snow. She explained all the details and showed us the wonderful of Tian’an men square and forbidden city with all the splendor of the treasures inside. She was very caring to all of us in her group and just amazing. The building and art work of the forbidden city just super and it showed the wonderful history of chinese masterpiece and art work with intricate building design. It was such a huge. The amazing terrace and the great hall of the people for holding meetings plus the square itself where the celebrations will be held. Explained about the parade and the avenue where the parade will be held. The imperial palace with all its breathtaking views. My personal favorite was the banquet hall and that during the Ming dynasty it hostel imperial exams every 3 years. It looked exactly like in the movies i have seen without the garden ofcourse as i realised the place did not have gardens as in movies…..★

Easy to find the bus location. Ticket purchase included bus fare to and from Mutianyu, Mutianyu ticket and shuttle bus. Friendly tour guide from Zan bus 赞巴士 who will assist you to buy the cable car or lift-up chair/toboggan slide. Do note that cable car and lift-up chair/toboggan slide are operated by 2 different company, so if want to take cable car up and lift-up chair/toboggan slide down you need to buy as 1 way ticket instead of 2 ways ticket, which I did so. Cable car at 14, lift-up chair/toboggan slide down at 6. Is a hassle free for me and I highly recommend to choose Zan bus (赞巴士）if you want to visit Mutianyu Great Wall!!!★

The temple is ok, not great. Insane amount of people there. The grounds are expansive so you can go strolling around, but I just wanted to get out of there (it was a hot day too). The reason I'm giving this 5/5 is because it's definitely worth paying a little extra to get the QR code emailed to you beforehand so you can avoid lining up at the chaotic ticket booth.★

Our guide, Li Xue, took us around the Forbidden City with detailed explanations, which definitely didn't feel like a quick tour. Even though none of us could understand Mandarin, she took good care of us and we were very satisfied with this half-day tour.
