The Kuranda Rainforest Cable Car offers a stunning aerial view, while the train journeys through the rainforest, passing beautiful waterfalls along the way. Our day tour guide, Mr. Zhang, was very knowledgeable about Cairns, providing an overview of its history. His well-organized tour was excellent; a truly outstanding guide! We had a great experience on The Skyrail on 17th June, travelling up and back to Kuranda. Staff were professional, friendly & knowledgeable. The views were amazingly spectacular over the rainforest and the Barron River & Falls. 2 stops along the way at Red Peak and then Barron Falls which enabled us to get out and follow the decking & read the info and enjoy the view & take photos. Couldn’t have been better. A great experience. Having done the train and Skyrail over the years, my suggestion is to go up on The Skyrail and come back on the train.
