Day 1

Meet at meeting point: The office of Budget Georgia
Attractions and Activities: Baia's Wine (Free entry) Tour starts at 14:00 form our office in Kutaisi. We visit family winery “Baia's wine” located in Bagdati municipality, village Obcha. Firstly, Baia and Gvantsa (Baia's sister) show us vineyard that is just behind their house. Then we move to wine cellar to taste several types of wines they have. They produce “Tsolikouri”, “Krakhuna”, “Aladasturi”, “Ojaleshi”, “Otskhanuri Sapere” and of course “Chacha”. Afterwards we sit around big table full of Georgian food. Their mom makes the most delicious Imereian food you'll ever try. After satisfying lunch we return back to Kutaisi by 18:00. 3 hr(s)

In Bagdati, we are fortunate to have hospitable friends - the young sisters Baia and Gvatsa Abuladze, talented winemakers. We offer group tours from Kutaisi to Baia's winery. Come and visit them to enjoy excellent dry wine and a traditional Georgian meal.
