


[ArashiyamaLocated in the northwest region of Kyoto, its world-famous bamboo forest and beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons attract numerous visitors. The area is dotted with temples, ancient royal villas, and famous historical sites, many of which are designated as national treasures or even recognized as World Heritage sites. The entire region has been designated as a scenic area.
- Sagano Scenic RailwayThe Sagano Scenic Railway departs from Torokko Saga Station and travels to Torokko Kameoka Station, slowly winding through the picturesque Hozugawa River Valley. The one-way journey takes about 25 minutes. In spring, you can admire cherry blossoms; in summer, lush greenery; in fall, vibrant maple leaves; and in winter, the occasional snow-covered landscape. Riding this train in different seasons allows you to enjoy the unique beauty of each season.
- Togetsukyo Bridge:Togetsukyo Bridge was originally built in the early 9th century during the Heian period and has been reconstructed multiple times after being destroyed by floods. The bridge's name originates from a legend during the Kamakura period, when an emperor admired the moon while boating in Arashiyama and remarked how the moon appeared to be moving across the bridge.
- Bamboo forest path:The Bamboo Forest Path is located in Arashiyama, stretching about 500 meters through the bamboo grove. Visitors can hear the heavenly sound of wind rustling through bamboo leaves, which has been selected as one of Japan's 100 Soundscapes worth preserving.
- Tianlong TempleTenryū-ji was built in 1339 and was once a grand temple complex consisting of over 100 sub-temples. Today, only part of the structure remains, and its garden is considered one of the finest examples of traditional Japanese garden design.

[Sanzen-in] is a temple of the Tendai sect of Buddhism, founded in 1118. The main wooden statue of Amitabha Buddha and the attendant statues on both sides are all designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan. The temple grounds feature towering ancient trees, lush moss, and babbling streams. With cherry blossoms in April, azaleas in May, hydrangeas in July, and autumn foliage, the natural scenery delights visitors throughout all four seasons.
