Reviews: Seoul: Suwon Hwaseong Fortress & Korean Folk Village Tour

Our guide John was really friendly and treated us to a lot of delicious Korean food. We also went to a folk village which was very interesting and had a lot of good photo spots. The village was very big and also had an amusement park for my daughter which was unexpected. After that we went to the fortress which required a bit of walking but the story behind it was very good. Some parts of it was sort of tiring but other than that it was wonderful. Finally we went to the local market which was very genuine and the food was great. My family ended up getting a bit lost but John found us in the end. The drive was a bit long but not too bad. His van was also quite comfortable and the view was very good. There are a lot of photo spots that almost filled my phone memory and surprised me as they were all great. Highly recommended for all families with children but please remember that there is a lot of walking involved so probably no grandparents or walking disabilities. Super brilliant!

The tour packed in some destinations that we would have missed on our own. The forts, temporary palace, and the cave would have been tough to access via public transport.
Reviews: Jeonju Hanok Village and Maisan Tapsa Temple Tour From Seoul

We started this trip early to visit the Joseon era most preserved city with 700-800 traditional house in Jeonju. Our guide bring us to a shop to travel back in time with thier traditional hanbok. We stroll the ancient street in 17th century. Seem like in a drama set. Nx we went to visit a cathedral n a museum. Inside the museum is an expensive famous Korean painting. You even could calculate the numbers of hair. We break for lunch at an authentic bibimbap restaurant. The owner gave us some musical performance about bibimbap. After the lunch we travel to a temple nearby jeonju. It’s call tapsa temple or pagoda temple. The architecture of this temple is form by laying rock vertically. It’s done by the master of the temple everyday! We are impressed by his spiritual and wonderful mission. Finally we travel back to Seoul by van and transfer by train

Jimmy was our tour guide and we couldn't of asked for a better guy. He arrived on time, listened to our requests and delived THE best day in Seoul. We went to temples, he took us to changing of the guards, asian markets to eat with the locals, shopping districts with soo many variaties of stores, cable car ride to the peak & we ended our day with a nice walk along the river right in the middle of the bustling city. He also gave me information on how to request information about my birth family. We couldn't of asked for more.
