Reviews: Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Skip-the-Line Tour

There was a girl outside the building to greet us as we arrived and assure we were in the right spot. Our tour started a bit early, but that was great as we were there the 20 min early as directed. We had Carl as our tour guide. He was fantastic. Funny. Great English. Huge knowledge. Good pace. Explained everything when we went places that we might get seperated from the group. I would 100% recommend Carl

Our guide Leo was extremely passionate and engaging with the group. The whole experience with this tour was beyond our expectations. Definitely encourage everyone to get the skip-the-line ticket to save time

At first, I wasn't sure if it was next to Cafe Vaticano because the flag was very small and hard to see. When I asked the cafe, they said it was. Turns out, when I went back, it was a display of various tour companies' flags – a black flag – on the stairs next to Cafe Vaticano. The other day, our guide, Alex (an African man), helped organize the booking line for tourists. Basically, what we paid was a significant saving on the on-site ticket queue time. I thought it would be several hours long, as regular tickets need to be booked months in advance. But here, we used a group ticket booked only one week ahead. I'm happy with what we paid for the priority queue time. My teammates came from many different countries and agencies, and we all agreed it was okay because the on-site queue was practically hopeless.

Paula is an excellent tour guide. She has a deep knowledge for colosseum, Sistine Chapel and other history site that we visit today. She also managing time efficiently by providing us sufficient time to rest and for lunch. Well recommended to people who want to take this tour.

If your hotel is in the city center, it's not worth it. The Vatican Museums, Colosseum, Castel Sant'Angelo, and Villa Borghese are the most visited sights. If you book everything well in advance, you'll definitely save money. The bus (city tour) is a disaster. There's no commentary, and you get hardly any information about the city. It's a shame. You often get stuck in traffic (walking is faster). I don't think it's good value for money.
Reviews: Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums Group Tour

The Sistine Chapel and the museum are magnificent. Our guide's English pronunciation was rather poor. A tour offered in English should be led by a guide whose pronunciation is understandable.
