Operated by a small cruise company which give second chance as I couldn't see the Aurora on the first night. Slightly better luck just to see a faint one as it was heavily snowing.

AMAZING. That’s truly all I can say. I’m just getting around to writing my review. The reindeer farm is beautiful of course but my review goes out to the staff. They truly went above and beyond when my now fiancée reached out to them to propose. They coordinated everything seamlessly and did a great job keeping it a secret (from me). They were able to set us up with an individual sled and private place for us to have the dinner. I couldn’t have imagine anything more perfect until the northern lights came out. Thank you to Marja, Sara, Manon, and Edwina for everything!

It offers a panoramic view of Tromso and it’s very near to city centre by crossing the bridge. There’s a cafe on top that you can spend time to keep warm and enjoy the view.

Unfortunately we did not see the northern lights on the night we went out. However due to the second chance guarantee we were able to go again. We had the confirmation that we could go out again within 5 minutes of returning. We went out the next night and saw the lights. The guides are so friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to answer any questions. The trip offers free tea and coffee and has other drinks and snacks for purchase. This boat option was so much better for us than a mini bus as there was so much space, you could move around easily and rest rooms. We would highly recommend this tour and would look to book again should we go back.
