Important Information for Cruise Itineraries:

1. Prohibited groups and prohibited items for sea travel

1.1 People prohibited from going to sea

The following individuals are prohibited from going to sea:

People with hypertension, epilepsy, heart disease, asthma, pregnant women, people with disabilities, seniors over 70 years old, intoxicated individuals, and those with other serious health conditions.

1.2 Concealing health conditions

If health issues are concealed during registration, travelers will be denied boarding at the arrival pier with no refund; any accidents during the trip will be the sole responsibility of the traveler.

1.3 Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited at sea: firearms, weapons of any kind, contraband, flammable items, sharp objects, pets, etc. If any of these items are found, the trip will be terminated with no refund.

1.4 Recommended items to bring

If traveling with an infant (free infant), please inform us in advance for arrangements.

Passport photo (can be saved on your phone, no need to carry the original)

Recommended items to bring: spare clothes, sun protection, sunglasses, hats, swimwear, and small change.

2. Rainy season travel notice

2.1 Overview of the rainy season

The monsoon season in the southern Indian Ocean region of Thailand runs from May to October each year. The key factor for sea trips is wave conditions, not rainfall. Even on sunny days, strong waves may occur, leading to trip cancellations by boat companies. Conversely, trips usually proceed as scheduled during light rain if waves are calm (except during heavy storms).

2.2 Outbound standards

The decision to set sail is based on official documents from the Thai Maritime Authority and the cruise company's standards. If the Maritime Authority explicitly prohibits sailing, the cruise company will cancel the trip. If only a wind and wave advisory is issued, the cruise company will determine whether to sail based on the actual weather conditions that day.

Refund policy for weather-related cancellations

If the cruise company cancels with one day's notice: full refund of the itinerary fee. If canceled upon arrival at the pier: full refund of the itinerary fee.

Trip cancellation due to extreme weather: If the itinerary cannot be completed due to force majeure, no refund will be issued; if some attractions are canceled due to rough seas, the cruise company will make adjustments or temporary cancellations with no refund provided.

2.4 Travel insurance

We recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage to protect against losses caused by unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. The accident medical insurance provided by Thai boat companies does not cover trip cancellation expenses.

3. Accidents and medical treatment insurance notice

3.1 What's covered

Each guest will receive free group accident and medical insurance. The guest's name and passport number must be provided in advance. No separate insurance policy will be issued.

3.2 Insurance Coverage

Injury coverage: Reimburses medical expenses within Thailand up to THB 500,000.

Death compensation: Maximum payout of 1 million THB.

3.3 Usage scope

Only valid for same-day travel and must be applied for on the same day. Expires after use.

3.4 Extra insurance recommendations

Since the free insurance coverage is limited and only covers accidents, we recommend purchasing more comprehensive insurance to ensure travel safety.

4. Item storage instructions

4.1 Item storage

Please keep your personal belongings safe. The ferry company and staff are not responsible for their safekeeping.

4.2 Lost and Found

If items are lost, the cruise company will assist in searching depending on the circumstances, but cannot guarantee recovery.

4.3 Item collection

If the lost item is found, guests must go to the pier to retrieve it themselves and cover their own transportation costs.

5. About gratuities

5.1 Gratuities culture

In Thailand, there is usually a gratuities collection at the end of a 1-day tour, which is a common practice.

5.2 Gratuities

Gratuities are voluntary and not mandatory. If you prefer not to give, you may politely decline.

5.3 Complaints about gratuities

Once gratuities are given, they are considered voluntary, and the cruise company does not accept related complaints.
