If not taking the pirate ship, follow the vehicle to Togendai Cable Car Station) The Hakone Sightseeing Cruise is a major highlight of Lake Ashi, Hakone's popular attraction! You can board the sightseeing ships at any of the three lakeside ports: Hakone-machi Port, Motohakone Port, and Togendai Port. The three ships are Royal II (Southern European Royal Sun), Victory, and Queen Lake Ashi. We highly recommend departing from Motohakone Port! On clear days, the sparkling lake surface complements the blue sky, creating a magnificent and spectacular view. Motohakone Port - Togendai Port one-way pirate ship ride takes about 30 minutes. Fuji. The first half between Ubako~Togendai primarily showcases the crater lake scenery of Lake Ashi. Hakone Ropeway service suspension between Owakudani Station~Togendai Station from Jan 31 to Feb 20. From Jan 31 to Feb 20, service will be modified to operate between Sounzan Station~Owakudani Station by cable car.

▲ 13:10 ▼Owakudani - Experience the volcanic beauty that shaped Hakone (approx. 50 min, free time available) Owakudani is located in Hakone City at the southeastern foot of Mount Fuji and is one of Hakone's famous tourist attractions. Owakudani's specialty - Kuro-tamago (Black Eggs) About a 15-minute walk from the entrance of the Nature Trail, you'll find "Tamago Chaya" shop where steam rises constantly. Their famous black eggs, boiled on-site, are said to "extend your life by 7 years if you eat one."

It's not only a great spot for birdwatching but also an ideal location to photograph swans with Mount Fuji in the background. The swans here are very friendly towards travelers as they are frequently fed by visitors.

Renowned for its stunning natural scenery, the shimmering ponds perfectly complement the majestic Mt. Fuji, creating breathtaking views that attract photographers from afar. Oshino Hakkai is designated as a National Natural Monument. 16:20 Return to Tokyo metropolitan area.
