
▲ Takachiho Gorge is a columnar jointed canyon formed by the rapid cooling of ancient lava flows. Glide through the gorge by boat and marvel at the breathtaking natural beauty as the Manai Waterfall cascades from a height of 17 meters. The area around Takachiho Gorge is dotted with beautiful shrines and traditional inns. From April to October, the entire gorge is lush green, providing a stunning backdrop for photos. In fall, the gorge transforms into vibrant shades of orange and red.


▲ Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine, located in Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture, is one of the famous power spots. Climbing step by step along the approach lined with nearly 100 lanterns feels like entering another world. It's also renowned as the setting for famous manga works, attracting visitors from all over Japan. The view of a massive rock with a large hollow is said to symbolize overcoming any difficult goal, making it a popular spot to pray for "success and victory" in exams or challenges.

▲ [Amanoiwato Shrine] Amanoiwato Shrine is located in the Takachiho area of Miyazaki Prefecture, Kyushu, and is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. The shrine is famous for the thousands of small stone towers along the path between the shrine and the river. The main building of Amanoiwato Shrine is actually located on the opposite bank of the Iwato River, facing the famous Amanoiwato. As you walk along the path leading to the river, you'll see numerous small stone towers lining both sides, marking this as a sacred place of energy. The further you go along the path, the more stone towers you'll encounter, until they eventually cover the entire area. Next, you'll arrive at Amanoyasukawara and enter the cave where Amaterasu hid.
