Despite the seemingly chaotic organization, our ttip to the desert exceeded our expectations. we started walking to the camels at about 4:30pm and rode for about 45 minutes, before stopping amidst the highest dunes to wait for the sun to set. This stop felt quite longish, but we were rewarded afterwards with another camel ride stint of about 100 minutes that stretched into the night and had us arrive at the camp under a starry sky. Here, the extra fee of paying for the "luxury" version of the trip became apparent: out camp was much smaller and cozier than the others we had seen on the way, and the tent was spacious and welcoming, with our own shower and toilet. Dinner was tasty and the night was short, since we had to get up at 5am. We drove by 4x4 to a bigger camp, had breakfast, and rode another 60 minutes into the sunrise and back to the departure point. Overall, it was a very worthy experience.

The sunset in the desert is beautiful. The dinner was delicious, the portions were large, and everything was delicious. Breakfast was also good. The tent had running water, a shower, a toilet, and air conditioning. It was a unique trip, especially after the bustle of Fez.

The time for sunset was perfect! Quad biking was great fun and the quads were in excellent condition.

Honestly, I normally hate it when everything has 5-stars, because things can't be that perfect right? It was. When we arrived we had to walk like 50 meters before arriving at the quads, and the driving experience was insane. We had a lot of fun with the guide, who clearly still enjoyed riding the quad himself. Because he did not hold back, which is a good thing, being a teenager wanting to go fast. But he still checked up on us every few seconds, just to see if we were still there. The view was amazing with the sunset, the guide was amazing, and the equipment too. This while being the cheapest too. Would recommend to anyone!


