Reviews: Rovaniemi: Authentic | Northern Lights Tour 100% guarantee

The weather was great on the day I participated, and the aurora was very active. We were able to see the aurora clearly with the naked eye after only a 30-40 minute drive from the city! It was a bus tour, but there were fewer than 30 participants, and because the aurora was so visible, many people were taking pictures on their own. As a result, there was hardly any waiting in line to take photos, and I was very happy to have so many pictures taken. Our guides, Max and Rasmos, were both very kind. They repeatedly asked everyone if they wanted to take pictures, and showed us the photos they had taken on the spot. The images were sent via an email the next day with a link, allowing everyone to save them freely. There was even a time-lapse video, which was fantastic! The bus also had a toilet, which was reassuring. I also participated in a bus tour with another company on a different day, but this one felt more homey and had a better atmosphere. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely choose Polar Lapland again. There were so many tours to choose from, and I was hesitant, but I'm so glad I chose this one!

Aleandro, our guide, was super kind and helpful. There was a lot of activity in the sky, and on the way from the center to the lake, we stopped twice to spot the Northern Lights. When we arrived at the small wooden house, Aleandro and his colleague explained how to put on the wetsuit and provided us with gloves, socks, and balaclavas to wear underneath. Aleandro went into the water first and explained how to climb down the ladder and how to move in the water. The lake was enchanting, with the sky full of lights. We spent about half an hour in the water admiring the Northern Lights. After floating, Aleandro and his colleague offered us marshmallow cookies and delicious hot juice. It was a wonderful experience that I recommend everyone do at least once in their lifetime.
